I have the latest version of Mac OS X. Is the Merlin XU870 compatible with this operating system?

Is the Merlin XU870 compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit?

The Merlin XU870 is compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit. Updated drivers are necessary, and they are available here.

This card is readily compatible with Windows Vista 32-bit.

I have a Merlin XU870 card with a flashing blue indicator light. However, I am unable to connect to the network. What should I do?

Check that you have the correct APN (modem’s phone number) entered into the software. A blue indicator light indicates that there is service available. The MobiLink software contains an “Accelerated Profile”, which has all the parameters installed for you to activate on the Cingular network. For T-Mobile, see below.

I do not have a copy of the Mobilink software for my product. Is there any way I can get another copy?

I would like to purchase an Express Card. However, my desktop does not support PCMCIA Type II or Express Bus Type 34. What should I do?

You have two options:

I have poor signal conditions in my area. Is there anything I can do to improve my signal quality?

There are carrier-approved amplifiers available that support an RF front end pre-amplified signal and a gain PA in the forward direction.

External antennas are available.

Also, establishing a good line-of-site transmission path can improve signal quality.

I have a GSM data card and I am connected to the Cingular network. Is it possible to use this while traveling abroad?

I'm interested in your Motorola g24. What is available to get me started?

The G24 Developer’s Kit is intended for evaluating the G24 module, as well as for developing and testing software applications for it. The main component of the G24 Developer’s Kit is the Developer Board, which is mounted in a chassis. The kit includes a cover for the Developer Board. The cover has openings on the top and sides to accommodate the Developer Board’s external connectors. It comes complete with all the necessary cables and hardware.
